Any hints on when the next video comes out? This last one was great. Just a matter of preference, but it's the most entertaining one I've found so far. And that's a sweet groove you got going on the grapevine! Ok, I'll bugger off now. :)

You are welcome... it's a nice move to work on and is a good transition move to start with for linking tricks like Crazy, Mexican, Italian etc. You guys are practicing "both sides" right? Can't emphasise enough how important we found that - it helps even out a dominance in your balance/weight shifts which makes moves smoother, as well as opening up more tricks like Crazy Sun etc. It's really "painful" in terms of wanting to race on and learn new stuff on your "good" side but if you conciously make an effort it will really help.

Finally got a decent spell of weather here in London so started getting back into it again myself. After doing not much skating the last couple of years it's a pretty humbling and frustrating experience, especially on the "weak" side for most tricks! BTW I pushed up an updated links and videos page a few days ago which hopefully fixed all the broken links.

Look forward to the future progress videos, brings back memories seeing your enthusiasm as you reach that point where you learn a whole bunch of new tricks real quick. Wish I had videos from when I was skating much more (other than that one "unintended" one on my site). Guess I just have to practise more like you guys and then convince someone to come video me... I'm so rubbish now compared to before I'm not sure I want documented proof just yet.. ;-)

Thanks for naming the trick, Kiwidude, I was planning on re-watching all of those little postage stamped size "trick" videos from universkate.com, but now I don't have to go through all that squinting.

If you all haven't checked out Kiwidude's site yet, he's got a great resource for beginner to intermediate slalom skaters.

That "other thing" referred to (half crazy/grapevine) is what the french call "Mabrouk"... looks like you are getting onto some of the more "fun" tricks now... good luck!
